Dr.
Andre Comeau, Scientist at Agriculture Canada "it (the 3D biplot viewer)
is a very powerful tool in the hands of those who have the imagination
necessary to understand how to make good use of it.”
October 21, 2005.
Dr. Jerome Auclair: "GGEbiplot is not a
software primarily aimed at genetic mapping but a QTL module is available
for QTL detection via principal component analysis. The software is very
powerful at pulling together dataset that may have many correlated traits
which is often the case for QTL. Biplot offers a great way to visualize
differences and similarities between genotype by environment data of any
trait, traits of different genotypes, and genotypes by genetic marker data or
any combinations of the above. The data acquisition can be painful but once
your data is ready for analysis the power of the software for
multi-dimensional data comparisons make it actually fun and rewarding to use."

西北农林科大的何蓓如教授赠齐白石名句"删繁就简三秋树, 标新立异二月花"以形容用GGEbiplot分析研究数据的功能和特点.

"I
really liked the concept and the ability to perform visual examination and
comparison with very little work (the GGEbiplot software did it for me). The analysis
has allowed some previous ideas to be supported and some to be questioned ... I found
the software very easy to use."
Dr.
Wade Thomason, Asst. Prof/Grains Specialist, Virginia Polytechnic Institute
and State University. Feb. 20, 2004.

"We are very happy with GGEbiplot. Really it is a
very useful tool. I'm just preparing a lecture for a barley workshop at
Buenos Aires University next week and I'm very excited to show the advantages
of this software to my colleagues....I'm just beginning to use GGEbiplot in
our barley breeding program and I'm discovering one of the most powerful tool
to manage genotype-environment interaction."
Dr.
Hugo Savio, Research & Development Manager, Cervecería y Maltería Quilmes S.A.,
Argentina, Oct. 17, 2003

"The GGE biplot method has captured the
imagination of plant breeders and production agronomists like no other
approach ever has...In addition to dissecting genotype by environment
interactions, GGEbiplot helps analyze genotype by trait data, genotype by
marker data, and diallel cross data. These aspects make GGEbiplot a most
comprehensive tool in quantitative genetics and plant breeding." --Professor
Manjit S. Kang, Louisiana State University, pp.226, In M. S. Kang (ed.)
"Quantitative Genetics, Genomics, and Plant Breeding", CAB International,
Wallingford, Oxon, UK, 2003

"The potential applications of the principal
component analysis technique using this amazingly friendly and informative
software are limited only by the imagination of the researcher. GGEbiplot is
simple and fun to use; it is much like a useful and productive video game for
scientists. " —Prof. Duane Falk, University of Guelph, in Foreword to "GGE
Biplot Analysis", CRC Press, Boca Raton, FL, 2003.

"Your
message is really inspiring. I feel like having six cups of coffee in the
morning...This is fabulous! I AM COMPLETELY SHOCKED AT THE SPEED WITH WHICH
YOU HAVE GENERATED THE RESULTS...I am completely sold by the idea and the
software and the results as well...I have been fascinated by the G x E
interactions for a long...long time. You are doing a fabulous work along those
lines. ... Thank you also for introducing me into this fascinating
world. I did use the Finlay-Wilkinson, Eberhardt-Russell model for doing G x E
interactions in the mid-80's. I have been fascinated by these set of models
since early 70's. Weikai, you have produced an incredible
thing. Please accept my heartfelt congratulations." --Raju Govindaraju,
M.F.S., Ph.D. Clinical Research and Development, Interleukin Genetics, Inc.
June 6, 2002.

"I
read your article entitled BIPLOT ANALYSIS OF DIALLEL DATA published in CROP
SCIENCE. The approach is more elaborative and can draw tangible conclusions
very easily and in explicit way...I would like to inform you that for
the last 20 years I am working in quantitative genetics of vegetable crops and
published nearly 120 research papers." Dr. Krishna Prasad, Senior
Scientist, Div of Vegetable Crops, Indian Inst of Hort Res. Hessaraghatta,
Bangalore 560089 India. April 3 2002.

"I
am a real fan of the use of GGEBiplot, and wonder how I ever lived without it!" Dr. Duane Falk,
professor and
cereal Breeder at University of Guelph,
Canada. Feb. 15, 2002.

"I
was astonished by the capacity of interpretation of the data from such a
simple plot and the ease of use of your program. I was working before on
some AMMI analysis, limited to the GE interaction, but I never thought
that the interpretation power could be so great. That should not be new for
you and probably many people already told you that."--Dr.
Ignacio Susín, Artichoke Breeder, Nunhems Semillas S.A. Cno. de los
huertos s/n 46210 Picaña (Valencia) Spain, July 4, 2001

"I've
enjoyed using your program this fall. One of the more useful
features I thought, was simply around comprehending /
visualizing yield and stability on the same graph. Pretty
neat!"--Dr. Steven Longton, Pioneer Hi-bred Inc., Nov. 6, 2001

"Have
been quite impressed with GGE Biplot and will be using it for two talks
scheduled in January 2002...." Prof. G. O. Myers, Louisiana
State University, Sep. 6, 2001

"I
have been using the GGE software and like it." Prof. Clay
Sneller, Ohio State University, Oct. 9, 2001

"I
am having fun with GGEbiplot, and am learning much more about some of my
data. This software is a great tool for real plant breeders and
geneticists. " Duane Falk, Professor
and cereal Breeder at University of Guelph,
Canada. Oct. 22, 2001.

"I
lost no time using some of my data. Even as I am still exploring its full
potential, what I see really impresses me. You have really come up with a very
handy tool to view, with relative ease, the multi-faceted relationships
inherent in multi-environment tests. I am sure that if this information goes
out to other researchers, there will be a more broader interest in your
program!" Dr. Arthur Villordon, Potato Breeder, Sweet Potato
Research Station, LA, Dec. 20, 2001.
